thats true boys but blu-ray is not yet affordable... external hard drives are cheap and are the way to go. plus burning discs is a huge mega pain in the ass and it takes a long time... what are you going to do, set a reminder in your phone to backup every week?

online storage is good if you trust your data with a company in the cloud, also once again this can be slow and will chew into your bandwidth allowance.

NAS boxes are great if setup mirrored or raid-5, just remember that without another secure/offsite copy of the data you are not protected against fire/wire damage or theft.
