I had a suspicion that I was lactore intolerant when I kept getting stomach aches and gas after eating things with high milk content. What I did was, I went and bought lactaid supplement pills (no prescription necessary), and used them before I consumed any milk. Since there was no more stomach aches or gas because I took the pills ahead of time, I knew I was lactose intolerant.

Now, I just take those pills before I have a shake with milk in it, and 99% of the time I have no issues.
