Speaking to Pedro, I've come to the conclusion, this isn't my fault. I did everything I could and no matter how I look at it, I shouldn't feel guilty. He chose to do this over some dumb bitch, someone not worth his time. He CHOSE to do this to his family and his friends, the ones that stood by him from the start. And if he chickened out, friendship is truly over.
