If its being home alone and accidentals you're worried about, best option would be a crate. Mine stays 8hrs a day in there on top of his sleeping time. Keeps him away from electrical cords, corners of glass tables, etc.

I already do that, but it's not just about him being home alone. Other things can be unexpected, even when im not looking he'll cause trouble when he gets hyper! That's why i'm asking for a good insurance plan.
