si ma ma was the dopest place on earth! my mom would take us kids there every weekend despite the drive because it was SO worth it.

i totally remember the chicken on rice dish--they actually still had it when they changed it to a "cantonese" style restaurant but it wasn't enough to keep us going there after all the taiwanese dishes were taken off the menu.

my favorites included 'you yu geng' (squid thick soup), mi gao (rice cake) and i loved how their marinated tofu was somewhat dried. omgg....seriously i'd sell my body if it was to get them to reopen again.
