i have a sneaking suspicion that nothing will happen to Auger. nothing can be proven. what does the nhl do on bad/wrong calls? nothing right? so same difference. nothing will happen to Auger as nothing can be proven that it was not just a bad call but a vindictive one.

if anything, they can just make sure that he doesn't ref any Canucks games anymore, just to avoid controversy. they just shouldn't have refs following teams around. how many refs are there in the league anyway? you'd think they'd be able to coordinate the refs so that each ref refs as many different teams as possible (to avoid a whole string of games being reffed by the same ref).
