Domain Emails Spam Filter question

I have a website hosted by some domain companies and it has email address like xxx@yourwebsite.ca.
You can login from their website to check your emails online from any computers. (just like your regular hotmail & gmail)

Problem is, the online email doesn't come with any form of spam filter at all, so i get about 2 dozens+ of spam per day

First question:
I can setup the email to receive domestically with MS outlook/outlook express.
Does microsoft outlook / outlook express have built in spam filter? and how well does it work? Does it have to be updated regularly?

2nd Question:
Is there anyway to filter the spam mail w/o using any email clients? I actually prefer web based email and not using any local email clients because that way I can refer back to the old mails easily from any computers.

The domain hosting company is this -> http://www.webhostingforfree.com/
