I am really indifferent. They have 3 straps as oppposed to 2 on the ironworks. The extra strap is not a huge benefit since adidas shoes seem to fit narrow in general. I guess if you have narrow feet it may help your feet from sliding too much. Again, this is really pertaining to weightlifting and such lifts as the jerk. The heel is nearly identical to me, and I would measure but I am sure you can find those specs somewhere (fortified iron, adidas site).

One thing I did notice though, the ironworks seem to hold up better than the adistars. You really can't go wrong with either one- and if you have the loot the new adistars are absolutely sexy.
