mobo choke vibrations

So my motherboard MA790XT has started making the annoying high frequency chirps when I put any load on the processor. I've looked around and concluded that it should be the chokes that are emitting the chirps from vibrations. A common solution was to figure out which choke is loose and to melt some hot glue or cover some parts in nail polish to stop it from vibrating.

Has anybody done this before? Any advice?

edit: perhaps it might be my psu antec earthwatts 500D
