remove the vacuum line from the FPR and put a vacuum gauge on it and test it at it's specified specs (you can most likely find them on dsm forums, i'm pretty sure it's different on ur 2G than my 3G) and also make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks in the intake manifold or vacuum line to the FPR because if there is a leak it could prevent the FPR from opening fully thus causing slightly higher fuel line pressure. (again, you can probably find the vacuum specs for the intake manifold at idle on the net or other forums)

EDIT: almost forgot, don't forget to temporarily plug the vacuum line that you took off the FPR when you test it, engine will run differently if you don't
