+1. Plus if you go FF you'd be ditching 67% of your lens collection.
Considering you'd have to save an additional two years to go FF if you chose that route, you can use those 2 years shooting with new L lenses and your 40D if you bought glass instead. Plus the lenses imo are the better investment of money towards our very expensive hobby. Just my 2 cents.
But I guess if you REALLY want video, there's no avoiding those 2 as they are the two to get in Canon's video/dslr lineup.
