Maybe the Canucks wanted to be in the rumor mill. Keep the guys on edge and working hard. The whole Kesler thing is all jargon, I smell Botchford. The Sedins ended contract talks last season till the summer... they are still here. If the Canucks will offer 4 and Kesler wants 5, how hard is it to meet in the middle.
Did anyone watch the game last night? Dan Murphy said the Canucks were looking at Tomas Plekanec, not David Backes.
