Rofl, just got this email from my professor Vera Lantinova for my Econ210... Funny professor! This is a section of the email regarding the midterm next week.
"9. Level of difficulty. "Difficult" just like "beautiful", "big", "good", "poor", "smart" and even "young" is a relative and subjective category. From what I've observed on my "tour" through some of the tutorials this week, even a simplest question will likely remain unanswered by more than a half of the class as well as generate substantial bitching about how damn difficult and unfair the exam was. I'll do my best in looking for a balanced approach. Does not mean I'll find it: there is no way around issues like you having not seen the textbook."
