I have an ATI Radeon (not sure of the series, but it's a bit on the older side) that doesn't recognize my monitor plugged into it. All it does is run the fan constantly (that pissed me off so I disconnected the power to it) when I turn my computer's power on, and fails to put any feed on the monitor (ie. monitor says "Check Signal Cable" and goes into standby). I do have a rather weak video card already installed on the computer, so I can use my computer for basic functions, but games look and run like shit, and I get a lot of horizontal tearing when I scroll quickly.

Anyone know what's wrong with my video card? Thanks in advance for any help.
