I totally agree.

I originally started with a 120hz LG.I figured going LG (which was $350 cheaper than a Samsung 120hz) would be a good upgrade from a 32" Flat Tube TV. First one I got had hundreds of dead pixels. Returned it and got a new one. Set it up and got it calibrated. 4 hours of use later.....the LG DIED. Just went black and wouldn't turn back on. So by that time I was pissed off, so I returned it for a Samsung 6 series and WHAT A HUGE difference in picture quality.

Spec wise on paper the LG seemed to be better, when comparing them in the store they seemed comparable. But when I had a BD playing I could see a huge difference in colour and sharpness between the two.

I ended up returning another LG that I got for a family member and replaced it with a Samsung also.

I will only buy Samsung LCD products now. I've owned 7 different LCD products and none have let me down over the years.
