I'm all for Brodeur getting the start tomorrow because he's rested, and re focused , and he's faced the tougher opponents, and made some great saves against them (The USA to be specfic).
I'm not trying to bash Luongo, but he didn't have a great game. He was half decent. But with the way the team in front of him played, that was all he needed to be.

Well the bottom line is this: we wouldn't be having this conversation if Brodeur stayed in the net and not make rookie fuck ups. For a championship goaltender, he should have known better, but he didn't show his experience on a game that counted. Some good saves don't cancel out fuck ups like that.
Someone with that much credibility should have figured it out by game time or else what good is all that experience? To tell some good stories?
In a short tourney, there's no time to wait for him to figure it out. When there's depth on the bench, you pull the string. The same goes for tmr if Luongo's having a bad start, pull the string.
