This is EBgames/Gamestop. they suck balls, treat customers as pawns and just overall shitty. Their so called edge card/gift card is a way to sucker the idiots who dont kno better to trade in games there. FutureShop/bestbuy offer giftcards and a bit better pricing, and Blockbuster/Rogers offer some pretty good deals.
The staff at gamestop/EB games are shit too. Not that they dont wanna help, but how the goddamn company treats their employees has 100% correlation to why they suck so much. I've talked to this one guy who has since been promoted up the corporate ladder a few times at game launches and such, he will be nameless, but he hates how the company treats the underlings at retail front. he knos it, and he tries everything in his own power and will within company policy to provide service.
As per last nite, fucking idiots at MetroEBgames told ppl that if you didnt have preorder to GTFO, 15min to 30min b4 midnight. I couldnt preorder the game in november from EB, not that i wanted to, but i had won a giftcard from work. So i heard this morning from my friend who didnt preorder the game and walked right into metrotown EB and picked it up. Those fucking assholes
I bought my game from EB today, and the nameless corporate guy was there to look over the day, I got to use my $30 giftcard and recieved regular guide and a free poster for my troubles
No other person/staff at EB will be able to do this.
