The iPad is nice, but it ain't no eReader. iPad owners are going to have a fun time with eye-strain once they start trying to read a book on it.

Make sense! The reason I want touch screen is for using scheduling and all, but I guess a few arrow keys would do the trick as well. I thought only the Hannah or something has a keyboard, but Kindle 2 now has one as well. My main concern now is still the features as you've mentioned, and OS that supports more functionality. The one I've show and quite a few more on the market ALREADY has all that and more, more than double the eReaders now though. Soon after the 2nd gen the electrowetting will probably take over; colour e-ink.
So right now I dunno. A friend of mine is going to Hong Kong soon, so I'm trying to get her to get me one there; usually cheaper, depending on where it's manufactured.
