Anyway, I kinda got lucky with that shot, because a few minutes later, breezes started coming in and the water wasn't at a standstill anymore.

Yeah I went Sept. 2004 and it was all the way to the water! I'm always meaning to go back but so damn lazy to get there haha.
And yes it's turquoise because of minerals from glacial silt being washed in the water- and also because of cyanobacteria which live off said minerals (I'm probably wrong- geography was a long time ago for me haha)
