The lens distortion on the S90 is horrendous - something you can't see in the JPEG due to the correction done by the camera. The correction also crops into the image so that an image shot at the widest setting isn't very wide anymore. Does he mention this? Err, no.
He does mention something that is correct IMO, that the S90 is more for the amatuer, and the LX3 is for someone who knows something about photography.
I personally prefer the LX3 due to the lens and controlability. The S90 isn't bad, I actually would not mind owning one, but the LX3 is better for my needs. The S90 may be a better camera for others.
