Window 7 on HP Vista DV2000 Laptop

I am looking to install window 7 on a HP DV2000 laptop that original came with Vista.

I remember hearing somewhere before that window 7 will automatically get all the drivers for you so you don't have to go find and install each one manually.
Is that true?

Also...is there anything I need to be aware of when installing W7 on the HP laptop? Some people say because of the way HP formatted the HD and Bios, it is more difficult to install a new OS.

I've formatted and installed new OS on my older laptop and desktop in many occasion w/o any problems. (pretty much just a straight boot from CD and follow instruction)
