Ideally you want to take a post workout shake within 30 - 45 mins after your workout. I usually just bring a shaker bottle with whey isolate and just mix water into it right before my last few sets for the day and consume. I usually always eat a meal within 30mins after finishing my workout too.
IMO Mutant Mass is crap, and its a gainer. I alternate between ON 100% Whey and Allmax AllWhey every couple of days. I've had good results in the past with Nutrabolic's Anabolic Window if you want a post workout shake with more BCAAs & carbs than a pure whey isolate.
