OK, here is everything you need to know:
1) M.M. is a weight gainer that requires i think 4 scoops/day=1 serving. Your best bet, and best way to digest it, is take it 4 times a day. Our bodies cant digest that much protein in one sitting, so space it out. Aslo, it makes you really full, so this is another reason to space it out.
2) NEVER shop at GNC….especially for things like mutant mass. You probably over paid 30%.
3) That M.M. bag will only last you a couple of weeks, and you should start gaining weight after approx 10 days.
4) If you want just straight up protein to help repair your muscle and maybe get bigger, get normal Whey protein. If you are lactose intolerant, isolate is apparently better, and also digests better, but costs more.
5) Take it about 15-30 minutes after a work out ideally. But everyone takes protein at different times, some take it 2 times a day, in the after noon and after a workout, or after workout and at night etc.
