Actually the cheese at Subway appears totally fine, at least according to their ingredients. It is just milk and culture.
Compare that to the cheese at McDonalds:
Milk, water, milkfat, cheese culture, sodium citrate, salt, citric acid, sorbic acid (preservative), sodium phosphate, artificial color, lactic acid, acetic acid, enzymes, soy lecithin (added for slice separation).
To be fair, that's not bad either. I had expected it to be filled with extra vegetable oil, but it's not. Just a lot of preservatives and artificial colour.
Extra funny that everyone goes to subway, avoids the cheese and mayo because of the fat, but those two things are the only real foods they use
