Ohlund was a solid player 3-4 years ago, but he has slowed over the years and he was exposed big-time last year against Chicago. Gillis was smart not to re-sign him and though I like Mitchell, Gillis will do the wise thing and not re-sign him either. On the other hand, no one expected Bieksa to plateau, Schneider to whine during practice, Lukowich to get injured, etc.
We are feeling the loss of Luc Bourdon big time too. With a couple of seasons under his belt, he should have been as good as Edler.
