I bought a 8" random orbital polisher from Canadian Tire today, along with a foam bonnet and a bottle of Autoglym Super Resin Polish

I'm pretty sure it won't stack up to stuff like a Porter Cable, but hey it was on sale for 29.99 so I decided to give it a try on my dad's black Impreza (filled with swirls and holograms thanks to Don Docksteader's cleaning crew)

At first I was reluctant to try it out, but after one polish with the foam pad I can safely say that it took out all the holograms, and about 80% of the swirls (mind you, I rolled it out of the garage and into the sun to check on it)

Nevertheless, it was a nice 30 bucks well spent and applying wax is now a much less "arm-killing" experience!
