not possible...they all have a common 'ground' you need a fair bit of modifying to get 10V from USB...get it from the firewire port....they should be rated from 8-32 V...but you will need to limit the voltage on the fan side...boom...hehe...
get a desktop fan for 10bucks and call it a day
