He's not a bad goalie, top 10 for sure but he doesn't deserve the recognition of a top 3 goalie in the league anymore. I'm not ragging on him just because we lost to Chicago again, its just the fact he played so poorly. If he played the way he did that year we lost to Anaheim in the second round, this conversion wouldn't be happening.
What's this about some teams wanting Lecavlier last year? If you're talking about Montreal, thats only one team. Nobody thinks he's one of the tops still. Pre-shoulder injury yes, now not so much. I can name 20 centres I'd take before him.

ok genius so now it takes a "super"star to be most overrated now, I'd take a superstar rated top 3 but is performing top 10 over a star rated top 10 but is performing under top 30 but is being paid the same (phaneuf, iggy, bouwmeester, kipper, staal, briere, hossa, alfredsson, campbell, gomez, lecavalier) yes and these players deserve to be rated what they were expected to be
and mtl was not the only team that wanted vinny... it was NYR, EDM, MTL and probably a few more teams so yea prior to the beginning of this season ppl are overrating vinny like crazy
