I got this game a while ago. I finished it in about 21 hours with 79 percent completion, played the good guy (same ending for both).

Pros: GTA got really old, so it's great to see the western story line from Rock star. I played Bully, GTA and this one and I'm not a a huge fan of open world. GTA had an awesome story, but this one's ending was sort of interesting I guess. Not epic, but interesting. You can play being a good guy or bad guy as some of you said but after a while you don't give a shit no more.

Oh, and when some dude ask for help, you stop your horse and they punch you and steals your horse... wtfffff. i stood up, took my double - piped shot gun and blew his brains out... retards...

The story was decent, the voice overs and everything else was just solid. It just felt like a movie.

Cons: DAMNNNN riding on a horse to diff places is just so so boring. Yes you can take a taxi in GTA or you can steal a lambo and there's so much to see on the streets. You can't do that in RDR. It's the ONLY thing I didn't enjoy seeing the horse riding all day long.
Their explaination on how use some of the skills eg// dead eye was just epic gay. I found a neat way to win lots of money in poker so monetary rewards wasn't a huge hit for me.

In some ways, it's similar to GTA but the story kept this game together for me. i think it was worth 9.5 / 10

Yup riding the horse sucked ass while travelling for me too. That's why I never did it and just used fast travel which was sweet. Like I said before not the biggest fan of the game and happily sold it to Vansterdam.
