Ok i'll give you my worthless opinion.

this game like any other is repetitive in nature. To defeat the enemies to requires the same strategy over and over. However since it is a suspense thriller there are points in the game at which i jumped in my seat. It is usually when you are under attack from a bunch of enemies and something unexpected happens.

The graphics is amazing, lots of attention to details. However most of the game is played at night. I thought it was pretty cool with a flashlight that you can pretty much shine at anything to check out. There is a fair bit of exploring because you have to find pages of a manuscript Alan Wake wrote. The weapons was a let down. I usually used the revolver, but at 3/4 of finishing the game the good weapons started showing up ie. hunting rifle, auto shotgun etc.

The story was kind of weird, and i won't spoil it for you. In the end, i don't like burning games that i wont play, but i saw IGN gave it a good rating and it labeled it as a "psychological" thriller. Its good for a one-time play only, then i bet you can trade it in and sell it to someone else to play.
