How the hell will an iPod be a distraction? I can understand if it's an itouch cause you can go online and stuff.. But an mp3 player? (unless I'm confuse and iPod touch = itouch?)
either way tell your gf to butt out and you become the cool bf. Winning over her family is almost as good, if not better than winning over your gf lol
