not necessary true.. a lot of ppl still buy the iphone 3g even though the 3gs is out. it all have to do with cost. personally i'd go for the SSD, i'm using one and i enjoy my 13 sec from start to full bootup. and 1/4 the load time for games. but like some ppl suggested. u can probably grab a smaller SSD and a lower model video card or even a used one ~
