I've read this since page one but have yet to comment.

You all seem to hate on him for taking a stand for what he believes, and is justified in believing, that he was right.

Yes the OP "could" have reversed out and let the person pass BUT once someone goes beyond your personal boundaries sometimes you just have to take a moral stand for your own self worth.

Bullies sometimes need to be stood up to and in this case the other diver was clearly the bully and used strong arm tactics to attempt to get their way. Your all blaming the OP but the other diver could have JUST AS EASILY made this situation go away without it ever becoming a situation.

I applaud the OP for his action's and his humor in the whole situation.
