I'm not at all saying that you're completely wrong or unjustified in this scenario. I wasn't even going to respond at all to the thread but I just wanted to point out that IF someone had decided not to 'defend their honour' by backing out, like many of the posters here have suggested, it would have no bearing on whether or not they were less of man or that they were ok with nut rape, or something.
And for the record, if it was a tight alley, I still think Bill Gates would have backed out and went another route.
