Until you switch to SSD. then you will be wondering how you have lived with regular hard drive noise for so long. Unless your laptop's fan is loud already.
I got a mbp 17". The two silent fans runs at 2000rpm and ssd drive. You have to put your ear right next to the keyboard late at night to hear any noise.
