Oh yeah, don't try so hard to "Impress" them when it comes to eating out. As long as the food taste great it doesn't matter. Just think about what Taiwan doesn't offer and go from there. Like many have said, you can go have fish and chips/seafood at Granville Island.

Dim sum is actually a cantonese thing... I don't think its that popular in Taiwan
