If anyone is looking for a cheap laptop, the Vostro 1014 is on sale for $309. I picked one up for a friend at $299 a few weeks ago, but that was with a 4-cell battery. The current deal has a 6-cell. You may or may not care that it doesn't have Windows. It has Ubuntu.
