i would have to disagree, before this thread really goes off-topic, yes expo is
a world event. However during the press conferences, they mayor of Shanghai
said this event does not represent Shanghai or China and he
recognized the rich/poor segregation in the city. He even goes and extent his invite
the visitors to see the slums (Linong) of Shanghai. To be able to publically talk about
dark side of Shanghai (any Chinese cities for that matter) is a giant little step.
