New to PC gaming what do you recommend for graphics card

i just bought a acer computer from work for 300 bux. the only reason i got it is because its a quad core and ddr3 memory.

im thinking of selling my PS3 and using the desktop as a replacement. im looking for a graphics card that will give me similar image to the one i would get playing ps3.

what graphics card do u recommend that isnt`t going to be worthless soon because from what ive read graphic cards plummet in price real fast real soon and u have to keep upgrading, but i dont want to have to pay $220 for a ATI 5780 graphics card when i could use a older graphics card.

im going the PC route for my gaming needs because i play mostly first person shooters ;call of duty, battlefied bad company but wanna be able to play crysis and whatever other good PC games that are fps (feel free to recommend some)

what graphics card are you using and how does it perform with games like call of duty. if you could upgrade in a reasonable price range what would it be

im trying to spend 150$ or less. is that reasonable to get a decent graphics card or do i need a high budget
