it's not discriminatory, it's a hiring process with specific criterias. Do not hold up the foul card, we have our reasons.
How you govern yourselves on RS will determine your initial eligibility. It's the same as applying for a Government posting or RCMP for example. Do you think they would consider if you already have a criminal record?

previous moderator experience considered an asset. If you are currently an active mod it will be taken into consideration as well in terms of added work load viability.
