If they ever break it is from improper use. You're probably putting it on wrong, using the wrong size, or not using enough lube as SkinnyPupp pointed out.
I used to break them a lot, then dated a girl doing her PhD in sexology. She taught me proper technique! (and introduced me to my GF).
