i use whats app and think its pretty good. def a cooler looking and more functional app (send pic/vid/vcard/gps-coord) than bbm, i like how it scans your address book for contacts, no need to enter pins. there is a version for BB so you can chat with BB users, i havent tested this yet so i cant comment. my copy of whatsapp was free from a long time ago, now its a couple bucks. the push notifications seem okay with me, what didnt you like? the only issue i have with whatsapp is the lack of group chats like bbm, you can send a broadcast message but you can not create groups...
