if you've got access to a small food processor, you're golden.
here's what I usually bring.
short ribs
puree garlic, shallots, salt, chinese cooking wine, sesame oil, soy.
marinate + grill
mushrooms
puree garlic, add butter.
grill in foil packet. squeeze lemon juice on top to finish.
cut open foil and serve right in the packet.
eggplant
garlic, butter, fish sauce, garlic chili hot sauce (same company as sriracha), mirin and soy.
