I never knew until today, that some goalies have been using something called "slide plates" to help them slide for floor hockey.

I'm going to be playing floor hockey in a gym,
so I was thinking these can come in handy.

But I think I specifically need Polyethylene plastic...
Does anyone know where I could get this?

And how effective is it anyway?
If it doesn't make a big difference, it's not really worth my time to "mod" my pads.
