So I'm getting a bit annoyed that there's a lack or parts support for my Toyota Cressida, so I'm considering selling it. Beforehand, I want to explore my options though. I want to stick with RWD 4-doors, and the E30 325i/e are the closest thing without going domestic or Volvo.

Basically, I'm seeking advice on the E30, things like what to look out for when purchasing, common issues, maintenance/insurance costs, etc. especially since I'm trying to look for one with an automatic transmission.

I realize that maintenance will likely cost more in the short than my Cressida, but at least with an E30 parts should be easier to replace with all the parts cars out there. However, if it's gonna be more of a pain in the ass than my Cressida, mentioning that would be nice as well.
