993 turbo/turbo S, 993 Carrera 4s/2s are the ones that are going up in price. 5 yrs ago, you could pick up a 993 turbo for $50-$70K. Now, $65-$100K. 993 Turbo S goes for $120K+. 996s including Turbos are dirt cheap now.....the only 996s that are holding some value are GT2s and GT3s. But even Porsche 996 GT cars are worth less than 50% when new, but I think they have pretty muched bottomed out. 997s MK1 is really coming down in price....you can buy an 07 turbo from the US landed in BC for approx. $85K.
