How does buying a suit off the rack and getting it altered at like Zegna/Hugo Boss/etc. compare with getting one tailored (price wise)? Is it even possible to get a name brand suit like that in Hong Kong for the price that I'm willing to pay? I did a quick google search and it looks pretty impossible to get a name brand suit within my budget...
My concern with tailoring is that even though it's going to fit you perfectly, you have no idea what the suit is going to look like until it's finished. With off the rack I guess you get to see what it looks like first.
