Oh, so the hard working people in the kitchen did nothing? They just conjured your food by waving a magic wand?
I don't know about other places, but Japanese owned restaurants where I have worked gave about 30~35% of the tip to the kitchen staff.
Granted, I don't tip as much for take-out, but I will leave at least 10% when I do a take-out at my usual places.
