After I passed my Class 5 test, the examiner gave me an extra tip that some people don't notice.
Apparently when you are about to make left turns on an intersection, you should always keep the wheel straight, not slight left. If you can't see the on-comming cars well enough, it's okay to go a bit more further out, but at least still keep the wheel straight. The point of this was in case of an unfortunate rear-ending from behind, at least the car would not bounce forward to an on-comming traffic.
The only tip my examiner gave me after the test. Hope this helps some way to build stronger confidence in both you and the examiner.
