most phones with 480 x 320 screens have to be held at up to 2 feet away before a person with average vision can no longer differentiate the pixels of the display.

Closest distance for pixel perception with average* vision:
iPhone 4 - 10.43"
Droid - 12.99"
Droid X: 15.10"
HTC EVO - 15.85"
iPhone 3Gs -20.86"

So if the average viewing distance for a normal user is at about 18'' doesn't it mean that the IPhone 4 have a slightly better screen and isn't as magical as all you guys say? I have never said that the iphone 4 screen isn't better, I did said i was unimpressed by the screen due to the huge hype around it. Is it wrong to be underwhelmed by something? Is it wrong to have an opinion? I guess it is here.
